December 12, 2018, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held a new qualifying round for the selection of candidates from the Express Entry system. The government of Canada sent 3,900 invitations to candidates with the highest score. The minimum ranking score (CRS) of this selection remained the same as in the previous round and amounted to 445 points.
In total this year, Canada issued 85,900 ITAs via its Express Entry system. IRCC has already exceeded the goal announced at the beginning of the year to invite 74,900 immigrants in 2018 and is approaching the absolute record of the 86,023 candidates set in 2017. According to a new 2019-2021 Immigration Levels Plan, in 2019, Canada intends to invite 81,400 immigrants via Express Entry.

Express Entry is an online selection system for Canadian immigration, designed to select skilled workers for immigration to Canada. Foreign nationals can immigrate through one of the Federal programs such as the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Experience Class, or through the Provincial Nominee Programs.

As of December 7, 2018, the Express Entry system has registered 94,823 profiles of candidates. We remind you that the registered profile is valid for one year. After a year, the profile that did not receive the invitation is automatically deleted, and in order to become a candidate again, you need to create a new profile.
