Today, on October 3, 2018, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held a new draw of candidates from the Express Entry system. IRCC Issued 3900 Invitations to Apply (ITA) just as in the draw #99 a month ago. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of this draw was 445 CRS, four points higher than in the round #99.
In total, this year Canada has already invited 66,400 candidates out of 74,900 planned. This means that about 10,000 candidates will get the ITAs by the end of this year. We expect there will be at least four rounds of invitations this year. In 2019, the government expects to invite 81,400 immigrants through the Express Entry system. The minimum CRS required to get an ITA remains stable with minor changes.

Express Entry is an online selection system for Canadian immigration, designed to select skilled workers for immigration to Canada. Foreign nationals can immigrate through one of the Federal programs such as the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Experience Class, or through the Provincial Nominee Programs.
The Express Entry system selects candidates based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for their age, education, work experience, and knowledge of the Canadian official languages.
