Business/Financing – Financial Analyst
A software company in Sherbrooke, QC, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team.
Job Summary: The Financial Analyst provides direct support in the planning, formulation, monitoring, and presentation of budgets and forecasts for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and streamline consistent processes, own the P&L, and contribute to various projects and initiatives.
- Lead full P&L consolidation and reporting in partnership with the Services finance team.
- Drive quarterly planning and provide strategic and tactical support in formulating the annual operating plan.
- Prepare executive presentations, and tell the story of business performance using visuals to share insights. Provide a forward-looking outlook and highlight priorities, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive ad-hoc analysis for leadership.
- Interact regularly with business, finance, and operations leadership to continually improve & enhance reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or accounting.
- Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to synthesize.
- Computer knowledge (Office Suite, SAP, Google Suite).
- Knowledge of SQL and VBA would be an asset.
- Knowledge of BI tools (particularly Power BI and Tableau) would be an asset.
- Strong communication skills.
Job Conditions:
Salary: $30-38 an hour
Job Type: Full-time; Permanent
