Our Partner Company in Canada is looking for a Construction Electrician to join their team.
Job Summary: As a Construction Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in construction projects. Your expertise in electrical work will contribute significantly to these projects’ safety, functionality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Installations: Perform electrical installations for construction projects, including wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, and other electrical components, following local codes and regulations.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, promptly identifying and addressing any issues or malfunctions. Also, troubleshoot and repair electrical problems as needed.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines while working with electrical systems, and take necessary precautions to protect yourself and other team members.
- Blueprint Analysis: Interpret electrical blueprints and specifications to plan and execute electrical installations accurately and efficiently.
- Equipment and Tools: Utilize various tools, meters, and equipment to perform electrical tasks and maintain them in good working condition.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other construction professionals to coordinate electrical work with ongoing projects and ensure smooth progress.
- Finally, Quality Assurance: Inspect finished electrical work to meet quality standards and project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Construction Electrician or in a related field is required.
- Electrical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes is essential.
- Certification: Possession of relevant electrical certificates or licenses as Canadian regulations require.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure precise and accurate electrical installations.
Job Conditions:
Monthly salary: Varies according to experience, from $25-$28 an hour.
