Our Partner Company in Canada is seeking a dedicated and capable Construction Helper to join their dynamic team.
Job Summary: As a Construction Helper, you’ll be an essential part of our team, assisting skilled tradespeople in various tasks to ensure smooth project execution. Your hard work and dedication will directly impact the successful completion of our construction projects, contributing to the growth and reputation of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, masons, electricians, and plumbers, in construction tasks and activities.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment at the worksite.
- Perform basic construction tasks, including digging, trenching, and concrete mixing, as the lead construction personnel directs.
- In addition, maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly clearing debris, sweeping, and disposing of waste materials.
- Support in setting up and dismantling scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures.
- Assist in measuring and marking construction materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Finally, perform additional duties as assigned by the construction supervisor or project manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus.
- Basic understanding of construction processes, tools, and equipment.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow safety guidelines.
- Lastly, ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Job Conditions:
Monthly salary: Varies according to experience, from $20-$25 an hour.
