Construction Laborer
Our partner in Canada is currently seeking applications for Construction Laborers with experience on large construction job sites. These laborers play an essential role in assisting the project team to ensure the timely and successful completion of construction projects.
Job Summary: Laborers play a crucial role in supporting and assisting other skilled crafts on the project. The laborers primarily offer their support to form carpenters and concrete operations. They also assist ironworkers/rodbusters in the installation of reinforcing steel and assist masons involved in installing block and brickwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing the area daily to eliminate potential hazards.
- Responsible for setting up and taking down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and hauling/hoisting materials.
- May be required to assist with traffic control on the job site.
- Assist carpenters and other trades as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable in properly using equipment, materials, and supplies commonly used in commercial construction projects.
- Capable of working independently and completing daily activities in accordance with the work schedule.
- Demonstrates reliability and consistency in meeting attendance requirements.
Job Conditions:
Monthly salary: Varies according to experience from $22-$43 an hour.
Job Type: Full-time
