Job Summary: Our partner company in Canada is seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join their team. As a Construction Painter, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the appearance and quality of construction projects through your expertise in painting and finishing techniques. In addition, You will be responsible for interpreting project requirements, selecting appropriate materials, and collaborating with team members to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching imperfections.
  • Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Determine the appropriate paint or finish based on project specifications.
  • Besides, ensure accurate color matching and consistency in the application of coatings.
  • Utilize masking tape and other protective materials to safeguard adjacent surfaces during painting.
  • Monitor and maintain painting equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling and disposing of paint and related materials.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate painting activities.
  • Lastly, inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in construction painting or a related field.
  • Equally Important: Experience with painting on various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trim.
  • Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality finishes.
  • Effective communication abilities to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.

Job Conditions:

Monthly salary: Varies according to experience, from $24-$29 an hour.

Job Type: Full-time
