Are you a skilled Drafting Technician looking to apply your expertise to dynamic architectural projects? Our Partner Company in Canada is searching for a dedicated and proficient Drafting Technician to join our team and play an integral role in our architectural endeavors.

Job Summary: As a Drafting Technician, you will collaborate closely with a team of architects, engineers, and designers to ensure the successful realization of architectural projects. Your precision and proficiency in drafting will be pivotal in translating creative concepts into detailed technical drawings, elevating the quality and accuracy of our architectural designs.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and plans.
  • Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create and modify architectural drawings, ensuring adherence to project requirements and industry standards.
  • Work with other team members, such as project managers and contractors, to communicate design intent and incorporate feedback into drawings.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical drawings files, ensuring easy access and retrieval for project teams.
  • Assist in coordinating design changes and updates, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Contribute to preparing design documentation, presentations, and reports as needed.
  • Finally, uphold a clean and organized work environment by efficiently managing design materials and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Prior experience in drafting, architectural design, or a similar role is advantageous.
  • In addition, proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, with the ability to create accurate and detailed technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with architectural and construction terminology, techniques, and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring precise representation of design concepts.
  • Lastly, practical communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information.

Job Conditions:

Monthly salary: Varies according to experience, from $25-$30 an hour.

Job Type: Full-time, what’s more providing stable employment and opportunities for career growth
