The Wellness Center in Hamilton, Ontario, is currently looking for a Front Desk Secretary who will play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive customer experience. This position requires you to perform various receptionist, clerical, and administrative tasks in a professional office setting. To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional communication skills and be able to interact with a diverse group of individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Front Desk Secretary, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and welcoming customers to the Wellness Center
  • Setting the tone for a positive customer experience
  • Coordinating front desk activities, such as answering and directing incoming phone calls
  • Assisting customers with any questions directed to the reception desk
  • Placing and tracking orders for office supplies

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • A Secondary School degree (Preferred)
  • At least 1 year of front desk experience (Preferred)
  • At least 1 year of administrative experience (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Gmail

Job Conditions:

This is a full-time or part-time permanent position with an estimated salary range of $20–$30 an hour.
