Job Summary: In this role, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople, supporting them in various tasks to ensure the seamless execution of our construction projects. Your hard work and dedication will directly impact our company’s success and reputation, making you an essential player in our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and masons, to assist in diverse construction activities.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Execute fundamental construction duties, including digging, trenching, and concrete mixing, under the guidance of lead construction personnel.
- In addition, maintain a tidy and organized work environment by effectively clearing debris, sweeping, and disposing waste materials.
- Contribute to the setup and dismantling of temporary structures, scaffolding, and ladders.
- Aid in measuring and marking construction materials to ensure precision and compliance with project specifications.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and proficiently.
- Finally, undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the construction supervisor or project manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of construction techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, with a demonstrated ability to adhere to safety protocols.
- Lastly, capability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Job Conditions:
Monthly salary: Varies according to experience, from $22-$25 an hour.
