Job Summary:
Our partners are seeking a skilled and experienced Car Mechanic to join their team at an automotive shop in Toronto. The Car Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs
- Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations for preventative maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a Car Mechanic
- Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Lastly, flexible schedule and availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Job Conditions:
Monthly salary: Varies according to experience, from $25-$30 an hour.
